Aspect Golden and crystal-clear. Nose The sensual aromas of red
fruits, apple, pear, quince, and then exotic fruits, endlessly reveal the touching
personality of the Meunier, exclusive varietal of the champagne, carefully harvested
by hand in 2015 in the plot « Le buisson des vignes », in Sillery, Grand
Cru of the Mountain of Reims. |
Palate Ample and generous at the opening, driven by the minerality of the chalk and supported by a bright vitality reinforced by the adjusted dosage with only 3 g/L of sugar added at disgorgement. For this cuvée La Belle de Juillet 2015, Jean Lallement was able to vinify
his base wines with accuracy, in 300 litres barrels built with oaks from
the Verzy forest, to offer us an unforgettable and pure Meunier. |
