Aspect:   Golden and bright.   Fine and regular bubbles.   Nose:   Heady aromatic breath, enhanced by the vinification of the base wines in oak barrels.   The fragrances of red and black fruits, subtly spicy, signatures of the majority of Pinot Noir (65%) gently interlace the touches of white fruits, thanks to the Chardonnay (35%).	Palate: Brilliant vitality, underlined by the minerality, characteristic sign of the 21 Crus selected in 2012, mainly Aÿ and Verzenay for the Pinot Noir, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oiry for the Chardonnay. Rare presence, revealed by 6 years of ageing on laths of the bottles with corks, before manual riddling and disgorgement. With this cuvée La Grande Année 2012, Gilles Descôtes, cellar master of the Champagne house Bollinger, signs a fabulous champagne.
