Aspect:
Gold, dense and brilliant.
Fine bubbles and delicate bead of bubbles.
Nose:
Outstanding and endless.
The Pinot Noir, exclusive varietal of the cuvée, slowly unveils its scents of
red and black fruits, enhanced by refined woody notes obtained by the vinification
and the ageing of the base wines in oak barrels. |
Palate:
Vertiginous purity at the opening, reinforced by the rigorous
selection of the first juices (cuvée)
during the pressing of the grapes and by the absence of dosage (no sugar
added at disgorgement).
The mouth reveals its maturity, result of 4 years of ageing on laths.
With this Cuvée Homm’Age, Emmanuel Couvreur signs an inspired
interpretation of the Grand Cru of Verzy, in the Mountain of Reims. |
