Aspect: Straw yellow, brilliant. Fine bubbles and regular bead of foam. Nose: Touching
aromatic farandole, characteristic sign of the meeting inspirée of the
varietals (50% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir and 5% Meunier). The
fragrances of red and black fruits, softly spicy, embrace the touches of
white fruits and candied citrus fruits. |
Palate: Sensual balance at the opening, driven by the
brilliant minerality of the terroirs
(mainly the Grands Crus of the Mountain of Reims and the Côte des Blancs),
between vitality reinforced by the extra brut dosage (less than 6 g/L of
sugar added at disgorgement) and ample and enveloping roundness, expression
of the joyful maturity obtained by 11 years of ageing on laths of the
bottles. With this cuvée
Egérie 2008, Yann Munier, cellar master of
the Champagne house Pannier, signs a high level champagne. |
