Aspect: Golden and
crystal-clear. Very fine and regular bubbles. Nose: Sensual and refined generosity. Heady osmosis between Chardonnay of the Côte des
Blancs and Pinot Noir of the Côte des Bar, in equal parts, carefully selected
in 2008, and then vinified with care in small volumes, with aromas of red
fruits, apple, citrus fruits and peach. |
Palate: Tasty balance, almost sensual. Between brilliant vitality, underlined
by the gentle minerality, and deep and caressing roundness, coupled with silky
touches of pastries, results of the patient ageing of the champagne (10 years),
on laths, with slow autolysis of the prise
de mousse yeasts. With this cuvée D Millésime
2008 of the collection D, Michel Parisot, cellar master of the Champagne
house Devaux, offers us a remarkable interpretation of the year 2008. |
