Aspect: Golden, intense and brilliant. Delicate and regular bubbles. Nose: Harmony of exciting fragrances. The scents of white and yellow fruits, refined
signatures of the Chardonnay (around 30%) endlessly mingle with aromas of
candied red and black fruits, subtly spicy, generous characteristic signs of
the Pinot Noir (around 65%). |
Palate: Remarkable presence at the opening, with elegance, between joyful
vitality supported by the brilliant minerality and radiant maturity obtained
by 10 years of ageing on laths of the bottles. For this cuvée William Deutz
2009, Michel Davesne, cellar master of the Champagne house Deutz, was able to
orchestrate with sensitivity the meeting of the noble terroirs (Aÿ, Verzenay, Bouzy and Ambonnay for the Pinot
Noir ; Avize and a tinge of Villers-Marmery for the Chardonnay). |
