Mythical Champagne
Implanted at Chigny les Roses since
1763, at the heart of the Montagne de Reims, the Champagne Cattier, family
house, cultivate carefully its vineyard of 32 hectare vineyard classed Premier Cru to craft exceptional Champagnes
since 1918. It markets approximately 1 million bottles a year, among which 60 %
are exported to more than 70 countries.

original and pure.
Visual Aspect:

Salmon-pink, bright.
·
Fine bubbles.
·
Elegant bead of bubbles.
Nose:
·
Mesmerizing
and sensual.
·
Delightful
aromas of crystallized red berries (wild strawberry, blackberry, blueberry and
blackcurrant), thanks to the Pinot Noir, the exclusive grape variety in the 10
% of red wine and present at 50% in the white wine.
·
Later,
the Chardonnay reveals (50% of the white wine), with secret nuances of citrus,
apple and white flowers, with delicately mentholated hints.
·
The
patience is rewarded by the appearance of unexpected notes of honey and gingerbread,
signs of the maturity of the Champagne, the result of 5 years of ageing on laths
of the bottles.
Palate :
·
Fresh
first taste, quickly giving way to a fleshy, dense and wrapping balance, back
by the silky effervescence, strengthened by the generous dosage, with 9 g/l of
sugar added at disgogement.

We
find the red berries and citrus fruits evoked in the nose, matched by the inimitable
deep, marked minerality of the exclusive origin of grapes, harvested in 2006
(60%), 2005 (20%) and 2004 (20%) in the Clos du Moulin, a unique plot of 2,2
hectares, acquired by the house in 1951.

With Clos du Moulin Brut Rosé Premier Cru confidentiel (4284 bottles), launched in September
2013, Alexandre and Jean-Jacques Cattier, oenologists and cellar masters of the
Champagne Cattier, sign a rosé Champagne of assembly to the unforgettable
personality.
To enjoy during a gastronomic meal,
to accompany cod in papillote with citrus fruits, for example.
