Mythical Champagne
An original bottle, modern and luxurious, for this Cuvée in homage to the founder of the House.
Aspect :

Deep golden.

Very fine bubbles.

Nose :
·
Radiant, taking you into a
sensual and heady aromatic journey.
·
First marked by the Pinot Noir
(55%), selected on the Grand Cru of Aÿ and the Premiers Crus of
Rilly-la-Montagne and Hautvillers, with some touching hints of candied red
fruits and cherry liqueur.

The Cuvée then reveals its
great maturity, with some warm scents of caramel, vanilla, honey and
gingerbread, the result of a patient ageing on laths of the bottles for 10
years, before disgorgement.
·
Patience is rewarded by the
appearance of subtle aromas of citrus fruits compote, apricot and raisin,
signature of the Chardonnay (45%), from the Grands Crus of Avize and Chouilly,
and from the terroir of Grauves
(Premier Cru).
Palate :

Pure opening, allowed by the selection of the first
runwine (cuvée) during pressing.

The mouth then becomes deep, harmoniously swaying
between reserved power and elegance, enhanced by a silky and refined
effervescence.

Tasty finish, underlined by delicate spices and
minerality.
·
Great length on the palate.

The youngest famous Champagne House,
the Champagne House Thiénot was born in 1985 under the leadership of Alain
Thiénot, who transmitted his passion to his daughter Garance and to his son
Stanislas, to etablish the brand reputation. Its vineyard of 27 hectares and a
visionary oenology, with uncompromised quality, give birth to around 600,000
bottles a year of gourmet Champagnes.
