Aspect: Gold, solar. Fine and
festive bubbles. Nose: Sensual
and generous harmony of radiant fragrances. The aromas of red and black fruits rencontrent the
touches of white flowers, apple, apricot and citrus fruits, outstanding
signatures of the 3 champenois
varietals (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier), deliciously mingled. |
Palate: Joyful vitality, supported by the brilliant
minerality of the best Crus of Champagne. The mouth gently establishes itself, almost
structured, highlighted by the lively effervescence and enhanced by the
maturity with soft touches of honey and pastries, result of 10 years of
ageing of the bottles in the deep chalk cellars of the house. Clément Pierlot, cellar master of the
Champagne house Pommery, signs an unforgettable Grand Cru Royal Millésime
2008. |
