Guide VERON des Champagnes 2019
(around
39 euros per bottle)
Elegant and sober bottle.
Aspect:
Gold, coupled with emerald glints.
Delicate effervescence.
Reserved bead of bubbles.
Nose:
Joyful aromatic complexity, source of rare
emotions.
The radiant Chardonnay, exclusive varietal of
the cuvée, illustrates its full
worth, reserved, with outstanding fragrances of vine peach, apple, pear and
candied citrus fruits, subtly iodized.
Later, generous scents of marzipan and honey,
barely roasted, reveal the well-defined maturity of the champagne obtained by 7
years of ageing on laths of the bottles, before riddling and disgorgement.
Palate:
Brilliant vitality at the opening,
highlighted by a delicious bitterness and the chalky minerality.
We find again the citrus fruits already
perceived at the nose, supported by a warm and captivating caress, reinforced
by the 6 g/L of sugar added during the dosage.
Deep and harmonious finish.
Impressive length on the palate.
For this Grand Cru Millésime
2010 Blanc de Blancs, Guillaume Roffiaen, cellar master of the Champagne house
Nicolas Feuillatte, was able to accompany with sensitivity the osmosis between
the Grands Crus, mainly chosen in the Côte des Blancs but also in the Mountain
of Reims, to sign a radiant interpretation of the year 2010 with a harsh
climate.
Ideal as an aperitif or during a meal, with a
declination of trouts and citrus fruits, for example.
Now the largest brand of champagnes from wine
growers, first brand in France and third worldwide, the Champagne house Nicolas
Feuillatte, union of 4,500 passionate wine growers, establishes with dynamism
its vision of luxury to perpetuate the boldness of its founders. Guillaume
Roffiaen, visionary cellar master, vinifies with accuracy grapes from the
infinite palette of Crus (11 of the 17 Grands Crus and 26 of the 42 Premiers
Crus), and from the vineyard of over 2,100 hectares, to compose with talent a
range of refined champagnes.
