The
Pinot Noir (51%), chosen in the Grands Crus and Premiers Crus of the Mountain
of Reims and Marne Valley (Verzy, Verzenay, Ludes, Ambonnay, Bouzy, Tauxières,
Avenay-Val-d'Or and Aÿ), and the Meunier (15%), selected in the Mountain of
Reims (Ludes) and the Marne Valley (Dizy), establish themselves with delicious
scents of red and black fruits, underlined by the elegance of the Chardonnay
(34%) from the Côte des Blancs (Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Vertus), with its
notes of nice ripe white fruits and citrus fruits.
Palate:
Remarkable
balance, at the opening.
Gourmet
power, coupled with gentle toasted and roasted touches, revelations of the
great maturity of the champagne obtained by 6 years of patient ageing on laths
of the bottles, enhanced by a subtle woody breath thanks to the vinification
and the ageing of the base wines in oak casks.
Rare
length on the palate.

this Vintage 2012, 66th vintage since the creation of the first one
in Champagne by Mrs Clicquot in 1810, Dominique Demarville, cellar master of
the Champagne house Veuve Clicquot, signs an unforgettable interpretation of
this exceptional year 2012.
